ABOUT: Tunnels evoke memories. Norwegian percussion trio Pinquins brought me around Oslo and Østlandet for a journey into their past and present. For one member the tunnels had an important role for the individual expression, with graffiti art as a way of growing up and establishing your identity. For another member many hours were spent during the whole childhood in a car tunnel connecting her father’s place with her mother’s. For the third member going through a small metal pedestrian tunnel meant coming out in the mountains, taking one of many weekend ski tours to the cottage.
