Commission: the Swedish Radio

Program note:
The piece is like a club where musicians meet, have fun and play together, creating intense dialogues and energetic structures. I imagined how I would like the instruments to react to each other if this piece was an improvisation, and how the music would develop in that case. In connection to that idea I wanted to explore different ways of accumulating and releasing energy, and how to keep the intensity right below ”the boiling point”.
