June, 2-3rd
Participation in the RUM (The National Association for Young Musicians) Festival in Örebro, Sweden. Meeting with the winning symphony orchestra who will premiere a new work by Malin Bång during 2008. Sunday morning: Composition Workshop with participating musicians.

June, 24th                    
World Premiere of early traces for 2 dancers and saxophonist Jerome Laran, in collaboration with choreographer Marie-Laure Agrapart, within the "Grand Atelier Choreographers and Composers" at L'Abbaye de Royaumont. Afternoon, two performances at Royaumont, Asnières-sur-Oise (30 km north of Paris) France.

 

 

Projects 2007: August-December

August, 31                     
Double portrait concert at Nordic Music Days in Norrköping, Sweden. Music by Simon Steen Andersen and Malin Bång performed by Danish ensemble Athelas. World premiere of sparkling box for bass clarinet, trombone, piano, cello and contrabass and live electronics, commissioned by Integra. Also performance of Twilight Collider and the sound installation "bortom bakom, bortom".
12.00 and 16.00 at Norrköpings konstmuseum.

October, 6     
Oslo, Ultima Festival. World premiere of perpetual revival by ensemble recherche. Part of project "in nomine".
22.00 at Kultukirken Jakob

October, 10     
Esbjerg ensemble performs Faces and Moon Splinters in the Sound Around Festival, København.
20.00 at Plex.

October, 19     
Jörgen Pettersson premieres the work Delta Waves for tenor saxophone at the EstoVest Festival in Torino, Italy.
21.00 at Cinéma Massimo

November, 6     
The new constellation "bakom bortom" in concert. Performance with poet and performer Bengt Emil Johnson, singer and performer Kerstin Ståhl and flutist Sabine Vogel. World premiere of the piece fragile, black wings in a new version for flute and electronics. Also performance of bakom, bortom and Twilight Collider. 7.30 pm at Nybrokajen 11, Stockholm.

November, 17th     
Jörgen Pettersson performs "Delta Waves" for tenor saxophone at Västerås konserthus. Swedish premiere!
